Job description

Internal Audit performs as assurance provider to Eutelsat Group Management and Shareholders, reporting to the CEO and the Group Audit and Risk Committee, including when required, as business consultant

The Group Internal Auditor reports to the Group Internal Audit Director

Internal Audit is a small team of 2, therefore the position will offer the candidate a significant growth opportunity with wide-ranging responsibilities, autonomous work and significant exposure to the organization and activities of the Group internationally

The position is based in London or Issy les Moulineaux

The Group Internal Auditor, together and in close co-operation with the Group Internal Audit Director will :
- Participate actively in the annual risk assessment and the development of the annual audit plan
- Perform all steps of an audit (audits can BE Business Unit or process specific) from planning to report stage and then discussing the internal audit report and recommendations with relevant Business Leads
- Identify, analyze and measure risks /compliance / improvement opportunities at entity/ process / function / Group level in regards to Eutelsat Group activities and policies and procedures
- Carry out consulting assignments and ad hoc reviews as required
- Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of Internal Audit processes and methodologies and perform audits in accordance with highest professional standards
- Collaborate with Risk, Internal Control and other relevant functions to ensure adequate and efficient audit coverage
- Is responsible for developing Internal Audits data analytics approach and subsequent roll out

Profile
- Master's degree preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Accounting or Auditing
- 2 to 4 years previous experience ideally in internal audit
- Analytical skills
- Ambitious, proactive, positive attitude and a continuous desire to learn & discover new things (including auditing technics)
- Team player as well as being able to work autonomously
- Who can work easily transversally and demonstrates coordination and team orientation
- Able to improve the Internal Audit function, on line with Eutelsat Group priorities and strategy and the main trends of the internal audit profession (performing benchmarks externally)
- Pragmatic, business focused, service- and solution-oriented, ability to collaborate & communicate with stakeholders across departments
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly and concisely express ideas both verbally and in writing
- Data analytics oriented
- Fluent English, another language is a plus
- Limited travel
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
