Les missions du poste
YOUR ROLE :
Within a Tax Department composed of 15 people, you will BE responsible for various Tax and M&A matters related to transactions, integrations, and global cross-functional projects on a worldwide scope. You will report to the Head of M&A Tax and Projects.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?
As a Group M&A Tax Specialist, you will assist in executing M&A operations and projects, including :
- Acquisitions/Divestitures :
- Identifying, listing, and analyzing tax risks during Due Diligence phases
- Assessing the impact of risks on the acquisition/sale price
- Ensuring the Group's contractual protections through guarantees
- Managing tax frictions and identifying opportunities related to acquisition structuring, both at the time of acquisition and post-acquisition
- Integrations :
- Developing close coordination and cohesion with other "functions" within the Group Tax Department, notably by assisting in the facilitation of an integration committee
- Providing advice and support to the Corporate Finance, Accounting, and Legal departments during M&A projects in pre- and post-acquisition phases
- Assisting and advising Group Tax Department members on tax audits during guarantee periods
- Projects :
- Contributing to cross-functional projects
- Tax Monitoring :
- Conducting tax monitoring on M&A-related matters (legislative developments, case law, and best practices in M&A tax)

- Other members of the Group Tax Department
- Regional Tax Specialists
- Legal and Financial teams
- Corporate and Country-level Operational and Functional teams
- External advisors (law firms)
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?
- At least 5 years of experience in a law firm and/or an international company in Tax M&A matters
- Background in tax law
- Rigorous, curious, and tenacious
- Strong leadership skills and ability to interface with other functions
- Organized, autonomous, and structured
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally, in project mode, and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly adaptable to complex matrix organizations
- Fluency in both French and English is mandatory
- Willingness to travel internationally
