Monetization & Pricing Manager, AirOps
Summary of the Role

Within the newly created AirOps Market PMM team, as the Manager of Monetization & Pricing, Airops, you will BE responsible for developing and executing comprehensive monetization and pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance profitability, in harmony with AirOps business goals, for both existing and new solutions serving airlines, airports, ground handlers, and border control customers.

You will work closely with other PMM teams, as well as PMs, Sales, business performance, finance teams, and other functions to ensure a consistent, data-driven, and customer-centric approach to pricing.

In this role, you will BE responsible for :

Define AirOps monetization and pricing strategy for AirOps new solutions and commercial packages, as well as evolve the existing ones for our current airline, airport, ground handler, and border control solutions portfolio :
- Analyze AirOps pricing landscape, including customers' willingness to pay (WTP), price expectations and sensitivity, as well as competitive positioning, in collaboration with AirOps Market Intelligence team
- Collaborate with AirOps business performance and corporate finance team to understand our cost structure and profitability targets by portfolio line and customer segments
- Work together with other Travel Unit (TU) business lines pricing counterparts, e.g., to define Airlines deals packages
- Define the relevant pricing model and structure reflecting the economic value provided by AirOps solutions and commercial packages, while supporting AirOps revenues and profitability targets
- Work together with other PMM teams to ensure customers understand the value they are getting for the price

Support AirOps price points definition by PM/PMMs for AirOps solutions standard prices and assist commercial teams with customer deals :
- Support AirOps PM/PMMs in the definition of new standard pricing as well as evolving the existing standard pricing, providing expertise on pricing models and best practices as well as guidance on the process for the definition of standard pricing
- Provide active support and consulting to deal negotiations
- Ensure the development of skills within our internal organization on our monetization and pricing models
- Ensure consistency of standard product pricing across AirOps solutions portfolio and verticals

Monitor AirOps pricing performances, adjust and test new monetization and pricing strategies :
- Regularly track and analyze the performance of pricing strategies using key metrics (e.g., price waterfall analysis, revenue, margin, customer lifetime value (CLV), customer acquisition/retention rates)
- Leverage customer surveys to understand how customers perceive AirOps pricing model, price levels, and value for money and whether IT meets their expectations
- Test new pricing strategies and track their impacts on AirOps performances. If tests are successful, adapt AirOps monetization and pricing strategy to improve our performances and customers' perception

Adapt the AirOps pricing processes in line with CLC and PLC transformations :
- Ensure general pricing governance and consistency
- Work closely with PMs, deal management, sales, and regions, ensuring buy-in from all key stakeholders as well as validation from AirOps management

Develop AirOps Commercial Policies and Guidelines that may address complex topics, where a standard approach for positioning, commercials, and contractual language is required, in addition to :
- Revise and evolve existing commercial policies and guidelines (e.g., on Service Level Agreement schemes, Inflation Mechanism guidelines, Decommissioning policies, Effort Day Rates, Capacity Management, etc.)
- Validate new and updated policies with key counterparts such as deal management, sales, and regions, and secure sign-off from management
- Support improvements and standardization initiatives related to commercial policies and guidelines that allow us to improve productivity and collaborate better

About the ideal candidate :
- At least 7 years of experience in pricing and monetization strategy, business development, commercial negotiations, product marketing, preferably in the travel or IT industry
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful pricing or commercial strategies for complex solutions, across different regions and segments
- Knowledge of pricing strategy and theory, with pricing certification seen as a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage with different stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Strong problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset, using data and insights to drive decisions and actions
- Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of Airline and/or Airport business is a plus
