Digital Business Development Manager - Michelin Lifestyle / Commissions business (F/M)

The Commissions business is one the four businesses within the Michelin Lifestyle ecosystem. IT comprises the activities related to the monetization of our digital platforms, such as websites and apps for ViaMichelin, Michelin Guide and Tablet Hotels.

The position mainly concerns ViaMichelin and Michelin Guide's restaurant bookings activities.

1. Mission

As a key member of the Commissions business executive committee, the Digital Business Development Manager will BE responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy of two major digital revenue streams :


ViaMichelin's Sales Strategy & Monetization - Maximizing the revenue potential of ViaMichelin's large audience by identifying and implementing new monetization opportunities.

Michelin Guide's Restaurant Booking Activity - managing the global strategy for restaurant bookings, including partnerships with booking platforms and alternative business models.

The role requires a strong understanding of digital ecosystems, audience monetization strategies, and global business development. This person must innovate and create new revenue streams while ensuring sustainable growth for both activities.

2. Key Responsibilities

ViaMichelin Sales Strategy & Monetization

* Define and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to maximize ViaMichelin's monetization potential.
* Identify and implement new revenue opportunities through advertising, partnerships, and other business models. This includes revisiting the existing partnerships pipeline and developing business with new players
* Optimisation of existing partnerships to enhance data sharing from partner to us and increase our knowledge of our users.
* Optimize existing revenue streams by improving pricing strategies, sales tactics, and commercial offers.
* Work closely with product, tech, and marketing teams to align monetization strategies with audience engagement.
* Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuously improve monetization strategies based on data-driven insights.

Michelin Guide Restaurant Booking Business

* Oversee the global strategy for Michelin Guide's restaurant bookings
* Manage and negotiate partnerships with major booking platforms in every region of the world
* Optimize business model, identifying innovative ways to increase restaurants integration, bookings, data collection and revenues.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop functionalities seamlessly across digital platforms.
* Monitor industry trends and customer behavior to anticipate future developments and adapt strategy accordingly.

Transverse - Commercial Strategy & Business Development

* Identify the right partners and business opportunities to drive growth and increase profitability. Revisit existing partnerships
* Represent ViaMichelin and Michelin Guide to potential clients, embodying the brands with credibility and impact.
* Deliver compelling commercial pitches, negotiating and closing strategic deals with key partners.

3. Required Experience & Skills

Experience & Background

* 5+ years of experience in digital business development, sales strategy, or monetization of digital platforms.
* Proven track record of driving revenue growth in a digital environment with a large audience.
* Experience working with advertising models, digital partnerships, and revenue optimization.
* Strong experience in negotiating and managing strategic partnerships.
* Knowledge of restaurant booking platforms and digital business models is a plus.
* Knowledge of AI monetization models is a plus.
* Experience in working in a global / international environment - fluent english.

Proposed package :

Starting 80K€+bonus + social package, depending on profile and expérience.
