About the Role
Ogury is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join our growing Corporate Data team.
This role is focused on enabling business teams across Finance, Sales, Marketing, IT, and other corporate functions to access and leverage high-quality, well-modeled data for decision-making and operational efficiency.
As an Analytics Engineer, you will BE responsible for transforming raw data from various business tools into structured, accessible datasets that support reporting, analysis, and automation.
You will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure data is available, reliable, and actionable.
Your work will help optimize business operations such as lead acquisition for marketing, sales spend tracking, financial supplier-side analysis, and IT asset management.
What you will BE doing
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data models and transformation pipelines, following Data Platform requirements to support corporate data needs.
- Work with stakeholders (ops or analysts) in Finance, Sales, Marketing, IT, and other business units to understand their data requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
- Develop and maintain data transformations using dbt (Data Build Tool) to ensure clean, reliable, and well-documented data models.
- Own and optimize ELT workflows using Airflow and other orchestration tools.
- Manage and optimize data storage and querying performance in Amazon Redshift and, in the future, Clickhouse.
- Collaborate with the Data Platform team to integrate business-critical tools such as NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot, TravelPerk, Expensify, and Yooz into our data ecosystem.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices are applied across all datasets.
- Build or help analysts to build and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports in Omni to enable self-service analytics.
What you will bring to Ogury
- Proficient in SQL, with experience in writing efficient and maintainable queries for data modeling and transformation.
- Hands-on experience with dbt for transforming and structuring data within cloud-based data warehouses.
- Experience with Redshift (or other columnar databases like BigQuery, Snowflake, Clickhouse) and optimizing query performance.
- Strong understanding of data pipelines, ELT workflows, and orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, or similar).Ability to work closely with business stakeholders, translating business needs into scalable data solutions.
- Experience integrating data from business and corporate tools such as NetSuite, Salesforce, TravelPerk, Expensify, HubSpot, Yooz is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to make data accessible and actionable for non-technical users.
