Job Title

MANAGER, SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

In this role, you will have a chance to :
- Lead and mentor the Analytics team of data engineers, data scientists, and PDAs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Oversee the development and evolution of the Front-Office analytics platform and lead technology initiatives.
- Provide technical direction and support to the team, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Encourage collaboration with product management to understand requirements and component teams.
- Define the team's strategic direction and advocate for automation, AI-driven intelligence, advanced analytics, and innovation within products.

Front-Office in Travel Distribution is a dynamic division united by an exciting mission : to pioneer innovative front office solutions for travel distribution customers. Welcome to our journey, where knowledge from Development, Architecture, User Experience, DEVOPS, and Analytics converge to redefine the landscape of front-office solutions for travel sellers. To continuously enhance our products, we need to deeply understand how our applications are used-both functionally and technically-by analyzing data, deriving meaningful insights, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Leveraging analytics, we aim to optimize performance, enhance user experience, and drive data-informed decisions that ensure our solutions meet evolving customer needs.

About the team

The DAN analytics team plays a critical role in leveraging data to enhance our front-end applications and drive business decisions. Composed of data engineers, data scientists, and PDAs, the team is responsible for acquiring, processing, and analyzing large-scale application data to generate advanced KPIs and generate operational and business insights. Using a combination of data science, automation, and visualization tools, they enable component teams and PMs to make data-informed decisions that improve business outcomes and customer satisfaction. Its main objectives are :
- Develop and maintain data acquisition and data processing pipelines.
- Enable data-driven decision-making by providing analytics and reporting to stakeholders across product management teams, component teams, and DEVOPS.
- Process and analyze application data to understand functional and technical usage of the platform and generate meaningful insights that enhance performance and user experience.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain AI models to optimize system efficiency, detect anomalies, and embed intelligence into our products.
