The trackside ATC group is part of the Mainline business within France Signalling. Its mission is to manage the trakcside signaling activities for mainline trains : IT consists in managing the deployments of ETCS1 Alstom solution.

In the context of a growing market, Alstom Mainline Team is looking for a PREM to enforce its project management structure. IT includes a training period in the form of an immersion phase within one or several engineering métiers and depending on the profile of the candidate and business opportunity may lead to PM position.
Responsibilities

Management of the technical contractual scope of the project :

BE accountable for the customer acceptance of the project solution
Manage the project technical risks and the corresponding mitigation plan
Validate the technical design choices with the peers and Solution Director
Identify which are the applicable regulations in the customer country/city and ensure they are taken into account in project solution design

Management of the project solution, meaning the customization and parameterization of the generic solution to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery and Performance (QCDP) commitments :

Build and analyse together with the Project Design Leader the project requirements database (PRD) and allocate requirements to Project Engineering team
Act as a chairman of Project Change Control Board (CCB)
BE responsible of the project design and application engineering activities
Supervise Verification & Validation activities
BE accountable for Engineering WP QCD

In his charge of the complete validation of the Project Solution

Lead the project engineering team :

Allocate Task(s) across Project Engineering team
Together with Domain / Metier Leaders and RC Project Engineering Metier / Domain Department Heads, define the project engineering team organization according to the project phase (and as defined in the EMP)

Deploy the applicable engineering process, methods & tools on the project
Manage and assess the project engineering team
Share Environment, Health and Security (EHS) rules with project engineering team (receiving inputs from PM/Project EHS Manager/Coordinator or RC EHS Manager)
Support assessment of the teams involved in project engineering activities, including the ones belonging to a different Regional Center.

Qualification & Experience

Min. 5 years of experience in ERTMS deployments or development projects,
Fluent English,
Adaptation and communication skills,
Pro-active and autonomous
Willing to take a Project Management role : coordination and mobilization of a project engineering team, technical interface with customer and project stakeholders, internal reporting,...
Willing to develop leadership skills and evaluate in an exposed position.

Other :

Punctual travels (nationals or internations) can BE required.
