Who You Are

You will BE an IS/IT Buyer, reporting to the Indirect Purchasing Manager.

What You''ll Do
- Manage a purchasing scope on the scale of the Eutelsat Group, focusing on IS/IT families :
- Business software, ERP, core-business software
- Hosting and networks
- Intellectual IT services
- Support the various departments of the Eutelsat Group in expressing their needs and developing their (multi) annual purchasing strategies.
- Establish a purchasing strategy for the managed scopes, in collaboration with internal clients, to maintain the company's interests in its markets over time and minimize upstream risks.
- Conduct tender processes, negotiations, contracting, and supplier performance management over the duration of relationships, all while adhering to purchasing processes and other applicable company processes.
- Foster relationships with internal clients to best anticipate their needs and enhance decision-making with relevant market insights.
- Ensure data quality in ERPs and purchasing databases.
- Provide necessary reporting to management regarding performance within the scope.
- Resolve disputes with suppliers.

What IT Takes
- Master degree from a Business School or Engineering School with commercial experience, with at least 3 years of experience in IT purchasing within a large-scale enterprise.
- Familiarity with the IT world, the main technologies used in the group, and the specifics of IT contracts.
- Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork.
- Proficient English level (B2-C1).
- Effective time management skills and ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.

What we'd love
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Mastery of Excel.
- Understanding of IT contract law (software, projects, fixed-price or time and materials services...).
- Knowledge of IS/IT markets in France, the United Kingdom, and Italy.
- Analytical mindset and synthesis capabilities.
