YOUR ROLE AS COBOL DEVELOPER - LIFE INSURANCE :
Develop and maintain applications : Design, implement, and optimize COBOL-based applications, specifically in the life insurance sector.
Analyze and document requirements : Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand regulatory and functional needs.
Ensure seamless integration : Collaborate with IT teams to integrate COBOL applications with modern technologies and databases.
Optimize performance : Ensure code efficiency, scalability, and maintainability for critical life insurance systems.
Conduct testing and debugging : Develop and execute test cases to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Provide training and support : Assist end-users and offer technical support when needed.

Le profil recherché
THE PERFECT CONSULTANT :
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in COBOL development, particularly in life insurance systems.
Knowledge of mainframe environments (IBM z/OS, DB2, JCL, CICS).
Understanding of life insurance business processes and regulatory requirements.
EN + FR/NL - speaking all three languages is a strong asset.
Adaptable, autonomous, proactive, and a real team player.
Analytical mindset and solution-oriented.
A first experience in the financial or insurance sector is a +.
