Reporting to the Group Head of Global Quality, you will BE in charge of :
Responsible for Servier Global Quality strategy, planning, governance, and communication, in collaboration with Group Quality leadership team & the quality business partners ensuring alignment with the Group 2030 ambition.
Accountableto manage strategic/transformational Projects across the Quality function.
Responsible for the coordination & the governance of Servier Quality Leadership team, acting as the Chief of Staff of Group Head of Global Quality.
Drive the Quality external competitive intelligence & coordinate external advocacy group.
Responsible to define and drive a holistic Quality digitalisation roadmap across the GxP continuum in collaboration with the Data & Digital department and the Group Quality leadership team.
Define, optimise, and control financial budget within his/her remit
Main responsibilities :
Strategic Projects, Performance & Digitalization :
Drives a culture of excellence in Quality beyond Compliance by promoting cross functional collaboration and the collective benefit.
Responsible for the definition and implementation of the Quality transformation roadmap. In collaboration with the Group Quality leadership team.
Orchestrate the Group Quality strategic roadmap across all divisions and functions including proper governance and metrics.
Set up the appropriate transformation and excellence processes & network. Including the implementation of the Business Process Management Framework in collaboration with peers outside the quality organization.
Train quality leaders to related to the quality strategy implementation processes, practices, and tools. Ensuring alignment of the Quality strategy implementation across the quality organization.
Responsible for the quality competitive intelligence, conducting structured and detailed benchmarks across the industry and outside the industry to identify best in class practices adapted to company.
Define and monitor the performance of the quality organization. i.e. Define quality metrics and create the appropriate dashboard to ensure the real time visibility of the Group Quality performance.
Define a mid to long-term Quality digital strategy in collaboration with the Data & Digital & Information Systems (DDIS) department, in collaboration the quality leadership team.
Act as a BPO for identified key Quality processes such as : Business development Quality processes, new asset & companies' integration...etc.
Coordinate the quality culture project & Lead initiatives such as : Modern quality thinker, Focus to Impact.
Stakeholders' engagement :
Collaborate with peers across the Group to promote quality initiatives/practices and adopt best practices identified from other departments such as : Group Corporate Strategy & Transformation team, Chief of staff community, Operational Excellence & Performance community.
Strategically acknowledge and actively monitor the needs & concerns of all key stakeholders and take their interests appropriately into account in decision-making and operations.
Leverages strong understanding of different functional areas within the Group to lead strategic task forces to ensure the collective benefit.
When needed, work cooperatively with other entities & functions to ensure that quality is appropriately embedded on a regular basis.
Participate actively to the alignment of internal stakeholders in concerned projects or initiatives.
Build internal connections and external partnership across leadership levels.
Increase visibility and brand of Quality function across the Group.
Leadership :
Build and lead a high-performing quality and operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Represent the quality function in the relevant governance bodies with the Group : Corporate Strategy & Transformation Team, Chief of staff community, Operational Excellence & performance community.
Interfaces with senior management on Strategic Project when acting as a PMO.
When needed Interfaces with Group functions beyond Quality i.e Manufacturing & Supply, World Regulatory Affairs, CMC, Medical & Safety, HR, Legal, Communications...etc.
High level reporting including issues and risks of these strategic projects, ensuring escalation to management and recommended mitigation solutions.
Prepare critical strategy documents for Quality Leadership team, Industry Leadership team & Executive Committee meetings.
Mentor a community of Project managers in the quality organization.
Manage by influence key stakeholders & Quality peers.
Ability to align stakeholders behind the Group interest promoting standardization & harmonization of Servier Quality way of working.
Define, communicate, and implement the organization, the objectives and priorities on his/her perimeter.
Promote a collaborative environment, ensuring clear communication and coordination between the Global Quality teams, and other departments.
Program & Project Management :
Act as a PMO for the Global Quality transformation roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of each initiative & a proper escalation process when needed.
Lead assigned cross-functional strategic projects across the quality organization.
Act as BPO for the project management methodology in the quality organization in collaboration with the Group peers across the organization to ensure excellence in projects execution.
Identify proactively future strategic projects and initiatives that can impact the performance of the quality organization.
Act as a Sponsor for identified strategic initiatives.
Chief of Staff :
Support Group Head of Quality and Quality Leadership team in the definition of Servier Group Quality governance.
Facilitator of Quality Leadership team events : periodic meetings...etc.
Responsible for the Quality communication strategy& its implementation (townhall & any other type of events).
Coordinate the definition and implementation of the Quality vision, mission and own some of the objectives in collaboration with Quality Leadership team.
Profile required :
PhD and/or Business school and/or Pharmacy/Master Degree. A black belt certification (6 Sigma) is a plus.
Minimum of 15 years of previous work experience in Pharmaceutical Industry and/or strategy consulting.
At least 10 years of leadership experience in international, matrixed organizations.
Fluent in English (both oral and written); proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Hard Skills :
Strong capability in project management with a demonstrated ability to lead several projects at various stages simultaneously and accountable for the success of the projects, ensuring embedding of key culture elements.
Proven track records in Operational excellence (Lean) projects and principles implementation.
A Strong knowledge and understanding of the quality processes and activities across the product Lifecycle.
In depth knowledge in various Pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks.
Experience working in a large, matrixed environment required; experience within a healthcare or pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
Proven track record in leading digital transformation projects.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Leadership Skills :
Ethical leadership, putting patient interest first in all decisions made.
Proactive anticipate industry trends, such as emerging Quality standards, Digital tools & approaches, or advanced technologies.
Excellent understanding of performance management. Proficient in utilizing a variety of reporting and analytics tools to gather, analyze, and interpret data, enabling informed decision-making and strategic insights.
Ability to understand the big picture and steer a large team behind the collective benefit, always putting patients' interest first.
Ability to make effective decisions with appropriate rational based on data & science, balancing risk, and compliance.
Strong business acumen, exhibiting a strong knowledge of financial numbers and how value is driven in the business, taking actions that drive up the financial value of the business while maintaining a patient centric approach.
Soft Skills :
Strategic thinking and anticipation, ability to find innovative solutions to complex problems.
Ability to manage by influence multiple stakeholders.
Strong Communication skills : influencing skills, ability to present complex topics in simple way and good verbal and written presentation skills.
