Senior MSSQL DBA
We are Looking for a Senior MSSQL DBA to join our forward-thinking team, situated in the vibrant city of Nanterre, France. This contract role is perfectly suited for an expert with a deep passion and extensive experience in the management and optimization of SQL database systems.
Key Responsibilities :
* Lead and manage comprehensive cloud migration projects, ensuring an efficient transition of database services to cloud environments. This role requires meticulous planning to minimize downtime and a strong adherence to the best practices in cloud security and scalability.
* Provide robust support for SQL database servers located throughout the EMEA region. This involves rapidly addressing and resolving incidents, managing change requests effectively, performing migrations, and developing disaster recovery strategies that ensure data integrity and continuous availability.
* Utilize advanced troubleshooting skills to identify and solve complex database-related issues. Engage in detailed root cause analysis to prevent the recurrence of problems and to enhance the overall reliability and efficiency of database systems.
* Architect, implement, and maintain SQL server high availability solutions using AlwaysOn technology. This is critical for maintaining uninterrupted database services and optimal performance through various challenges, including system failures or scheduled maintenance.
* Analyze and respond to ongoing database needs by collaborating with cross-functional teams. This collaboration is essential to support the evolving requirements of the business and to contribute strategically to long-term IT objectives.
Desired Skills :
* Cloud Migration Experience : Candidates must have direct and extensive experience in cloud technologies and migration strategies, with a track record of managing successful large-scale database transitions.
* Incident and Change Management : Proven capability to manage and optimize SQL database environments efficiently during various incidents and changes, thereby ensuring consistent service delivery with minimal disruption.
* Troubleshooting and Analysis : Exceptional abilities in promptly identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving intricate technical and database issues, underpinned by a strong analytical approach.
* SQL Server High Availability Solutions : In-depth knowledge and experience in setting up, managing, and troubleshooting high availability solutions like AlwaysOn, essential for ensuring durable and resilient database environments.
