Description
The role
- Operationalise data extraction, data models and data flows in Azure (end-to-end ingestion and distribution)
- Configure related services, private endpoints, integration runtimes, for Logic Apps, etc.
- Configure and maintain Spark serverless pools, Power BI workspaces, workflow automation, pipelines, triggers and data storage.
- Develop and maintain existing data models built with PySpark notebooks.
- Store all data and IT resources in a secure and compliant environment
- Publish Power BI reports and manage workspaces, access and roles
- Deploy, maintain and support Git repositories, ETL processes, data pipelines in Azure Synapse, Logic Apps, etc.
- Code PySpark notebooks to create data marts in Azure
- Maintain and evolve the resources feeding the data flows via the data models
- Document the code base, databases, data lakes and ETL processes
Qualifications
The requirements
- Ambition to master technological platforms and their evolution
- PySpark development skills
- PySpark scripting in Azure Synapse
- Power BI Premium in enterprise environments with thousands of users and roles
- Thoroughness and attention to detail in resolving incidents and bugs and documenting the code base and data flows
- Empathy with users and IT colleagues when dealing with the data lake
- Advanced DEVOPS skills in Azure environments : networking, security, integration, configuration
- Excellent command of spoken and written English to document technical material
- Azure Synapse, Logic Apps
- Git version control for large code bases
- Agile methodology, Scrum framework
