We're seeking for a dynamic Assistant Business Analyst to join our fast-paced global commercial team at Coty's Paris HQ for a 6-month internship, starting in July 2025.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As our Assistant Business Analyst, you will actively support the Global commercial strategic planning team in collecting, analyzing and transforming data into actionable insights to support strategic recommendations for stronger plans and ideas. You will contribute to the deep and insightful understanding of the Luxury beauty markets, categories and consumers/shoppers to support operational and strategic initiatives for our iconic brands.
Your main focus :
- Analyze sales, market trends and data-driven insights to understand market key drivers, track product performance, and identify new opportunities.
- Create actionable reports or dashboards by leveraging and transforming complex data from different sources, into digestible presentations for senior management.
- Contribute to a deep market, category and consumer/shopper understanding to support commercial strategic decisions.
- Support the preparation of strategic internal and external meetings, with impactful presentations and high quality of data and information visualization.

Reporting to the Strategic Planning Senior Manager, you will work closely with several stakeholders within the Global Commercial team such as the Global VP of Commercial Strategies and Portfolio Growth, the Strategic Planning Director, the Trade Marketing team, the Promotion Effectiveness Trade team and the CMI community.

You have strong analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail. You enjoy analyzing data, solving complex problems, and turning insights into valuable recommendations. You can work methodically and thrive in an agile, diverse, and international environment. A passion for Luxury Beauty will BE highly appreciated. This role is perfect for someone eager to start their career in business analysis while immersed in the world of beauty !
Other than that, you :
- Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Marketing or Management.
- Have excellent analytical and synthetical skills and are able to draw appropriate conclusions and share them in a clear and assertive way.
- Are comfortable working with numbers, being detail-oriented and rigorous.
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel, PowerPoint and ideally data visualization.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- English is the company language. French is a bonus but not required.
