YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a skilled Data Analytics & AI Leader experienced in business digital transformation. This role is crucial to ensure that AI technologies are integrated in and across all Shipping Lines domains effectively to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
In Business Transformation Shipping Lines department, reporting to the Head of Data, you will work closely with the various Shipping Lines departments (commercial, operations and cargo flow, agencies network...) on their strategics programs managers and Data Managers (Data science and BI) and other stakeholders to deploy Data Analytics & AI Products and foster a data-driven culture.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Develop and articulate the Shipping Lines's AI vision and strategy in alignment with business priorities, Data Foundations roadmap and AI partnerships
- Maintain an up-to-date Data Analytics & AI Roadmap to oversee end-to-end implementation of AI Projects, identify potential overlaps and ensure delivered Products are scalable, robust and aligned with Business expectations
- Secure staffing of Data Experts (data scientists, data analysts, data engineers) and improve ways of working
- Develop awareness related to analytics, AI or ML topics as well as promoting ethical AI usage and driving adoption.
- Foster a collaborative mindset to strengthen autonomy and accountability and break siloes within Shipping Lines teams
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in a data leadership role, preferably as Data Science or AI
- Proven experience in transformation role, preferably in Business teams
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities
- Deep expertise of in data visualization, big data technologies, analytics, and AI technologies.
- Operational Research experience is a plus
- Experience with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake)
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance related to AI.
