Your mission, roles and responsibilities

GBS organization has selected advanced IT solutions and is looking for a motivated candidate in order to boost its digital transformation. He will BE the GBS data scientist apprentice and will support the GBS digital transformation manager to define and to implement the process improvement solutions. He/She will work collaboratively with the project management and IT teams to ensure successful implementation of digital solutions, while being agile and dedicated to respecting the deadlines
- Process mining / Celonis :

Celonis is a process mining tool that helps Faurecia visualize, analyze, and improve business processes. The data scientist apprentice will work with the system architect and Celonis project manager to adapt the Celonis data model (SQL) to Faurecia's business specificities. This role places the apprentice at the heart of business problematics, collaborating closely with the Celonis project manager to implement process improvements.
- Data mining and machine learning / Foundry :

Palantir Foundry is a collaborative big data platform used by Faurecia for analyzing SAP tables and other data sources. IT enables users with varying technical skills to work with data seamlessly, from back-end management to front-end analysis. The data scientist apprentice will use Foundry to code datasets (using Pyspark), enhance data mining efficiency, and develop machine learning algorithms for prediction models. This role involves identifying business needs, developing datasets, dashboards, and alert systems to address these needs.

Your tasks and responsibilities
- Collaborate with the business team to collect and understand specifications for process improvement solutions.
- Analyze and explore SAP tables and other data sources using Foundry, SAP and Celonis to identify business needs and develop relevant use cases.
- Adapt the Celonis data model (SQL) to Faurecia's business specificities in collaboration with the system architect and Celonis project manager.
- Utilize Palantir Foundry to code datasets using Pyspark and enhance data mining efficiency within the GBS central team.
- Develop machine learning algorithms in Palantir Foundry to create prediction models that address business needs.
- Create dashboards and alert systems in Foundry to visualize and monitor key business metrics.
- Support the GBS digital transformation manager in defining and implementing process improvement solutions.

Your profile and competencies to succeed
- You have studied Computer / Data Science, master degree
- You have a strong interest and excellent understanding of IT applications : data models, database design development, data preparation and data mining
- Knowledge in application of Machine Learning algorithms is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL query / Python / Pyspark
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
- Fluent in English; spoken and written is a must
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good social skills combined with a down-to-earth attitude
- Result driven, motivated, focused and persistent on improvement and quality
- Business and customer-oriented mindset
