Job Description Summary

We are looking for aPrincipal Engineerto lead our air shopping technical strategy in line with business expectations and the global TRU direction of sustaining an ecosystem. This flow is key to NDC adoption and multi-content deployment, with requirements coming from both our SAFe Agile Release Trains (NDC and Travel Office Platform).

In this role, you will work as the component owner of our air shopping UI components (All Fares in particular), leading our component team through a sound architecture and efficient deliveries. You will also extend your technical leadership to adjacent UI components (Booking File) and organize collaboration across sites (NCE, SOF, BLR) to help improve UI engineering practices. The components are mostly centered on Angular technology (Design Factory, Typescript) but also contain a few skube pods.

Job Description

As a component owner, you will :
- Lead the component technical strategy, driving a sound architecture to address our business challenges, following our Amadeus and Front Office architecture principles and technology stack.
- Drive the development efficiency of the team and any other contributions to your component, to optimize frictionless collaboration and quality deliveries.
- Design efficient solutions to meet business requirements, working together with our UX experts and solution definition managers.
- BE accountable for the team's agile deliveries, acting as a servant leader to guide them and help remove impediments.
- Create strong relationships with our Product Managers to build common visibility on technical and product roadmaps, to get a deep understanding of our customer priorities and optimize our delivery timelines to keep them delighted.
- Create strong relationships with train amigos and release managers to anticipate risks and react efficiently to issues.

- Deep experience in software development and mastery of engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- A strong foundation in software engineering principles and experience with various technologies.
- Passion for cutting-edge technology and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
- A high level of autonomy and adaptability, thriving in a dynamic environment and adjusting to changing priorities and challenges with ease.
- Excellent collaboration and leadership skills, working effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders, fostering open communication, and driving projects forward.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and successful implementation.
