Job purpose

Reporting to the Software Architect Director, you analyze requirements from product or regions team and provide technical analysis and solutions to meet the requirements in Ingenico projects. This includes reviewing external requirements, understanding existing solutions and their enviroment, and proposing solution (creating Proof Of Concepts where appropriate).

Main responsibilities
- Ensure requirements are captured and covered
- Propose technical solutions meeting the requirements
- Support technical teams for effort estimations and risk identification

Key success indicators :
- Development team is able to assess development of proposed solutions
- Product team has sufficient elements to take GO/no-godecisions
- Project execution does not meet major roadblocks that were not identified as risks

Profile

You are a Software Development Engineer with at least 10 years experience. You speak French and English fluently.

Important technical requirements :
- Familiar with software design, preferably in mid-size applications (projects with 10-20 developers over 6 to 18 months).
- Solid knowledge of C/C++/Java

Other meaningful skills :
- Strong collaboration skills, able to easily communicate with colleagues within and outside of his team.
- Strong self-discipline to keep knowledge up-to-date and relevant
- Good problem solver
- Able to communicate technical analysis to all stakeholders (mainly developers, product owners)

Nice-to Have technical skills :
- Android, Kotlin
- Payment domain knowledge
