Our work empowers rural communities and farmers to restore natural ecosystems, supporting food security, income, and long-term environmental resilience across Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Europe. With 15 years of experience and strong private & public partnerships, we manage multiple impact funds, including 3 Carbon Funds.
We are implementing, together with our local partners (most frequently NGOs), over 36 active projects aimed at addressing climate change, farmer income and biodiversity loss.

To join our team of talented, committed, and agile professionals and support generating and coordinating advisory services, we are looking for aSenior Business Developer Sustainable Sourcing, based in Paris or in Europe (able to BE present 20% of time in the H.Q.). This is a highly visible and influential role that will regularly interact with executive leadership and director-level teams and requires an individual to embody exceptional integrity, optimism, expertise, and collaborative spirit amongst both internal and external stakeholders to help advance LV mission.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Reporting to the Sustainable Sourcing VP, the Senior Portfolio Coordinator will hold three roles :
1. Generates business opportunities leveraging Regenerative Agriculture & scope 3 commitments of corporations & coalitions sourcing agri-based ingredients :
- Responsible for identifying and evaluating project opportunities by keeping an eye out for Corporations moves, Reg Ag trends, and principals that will enable LV to keep corporations engaged in long term transformation of supply chains.
- Plays a major strategic role by developing corporations' and roundtables relationships that lead to scoping and design of services, building awareness and credibility with the key corporations as well as Reg Ag/scope 3 fora.
- Plays an analytical role where s.heprepares detailed proposals depending on each corporation's requirements to enhance collaboration.
- Maintains knowledge of best sustainability business practices, market trends, consumer trends, and the competitive environment.

2. Acts as the senior manager responsible for designing advisory services and is accountable for their quality delivery :
- Coordinates advisory services such as the co-design of Scope 3 road maps, sustainable sourcing strategies of corporations as well as cross-sector projects.
- Accountable for quality delivery by making sure LV teams efficiently deliver to the expected outcomes of Corporations.

3. Key account manager for corporate partners and or program PMO reporting on operations within a program/portfolio of Regenerative Agriculture projects in a matrix organization :
- Responsible for Reg Ag programs and project portfolio communications & adjustment plans within Corporate Partner(s) supply chains; coordinating actions with corporations at diverse levels (central and regions for example).
- Co-develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to the investors of these various programs and portfolio in compliance with LV charter. S.healso reviews target achievement and creates reports for senior account management, which facilitates the creation of informed decision-making and strategy formulation within LV.
- Make sure that LV and teams' resources are allocated and utilized as per business goals of partnering corporations. IT requires liaising with senior key account management in the creation and determination of departmental strategies, financial requirements, and account management standards.

As such her/his main responsibilities will cover :
- Set-up, facilitateand act as focal point on specific Corporation partnership and project coalition.
- Regularly Reportto Funds/Platforms(s) on the challenges and projects progress, with mitigation plans.
- Coachproject managers in charge, backstopping activities of project implementers close to rural communities.
- Manage the KPIs ofportfolio of projects.
- Overseethe co-design and implementation of advisory services and possibly agroecology & regenerative agriculture projects adapted to the local context.
- Bringor identify expertise on business coalitions to our colleagues and partners and help adapt these to the projects' local context.
- Continuously learn and improve the engagement of new partnering organizations.
- Collaborate within internal and external stakeholdersand activities in the long run, by playing an active role within projects/programs governance, anticipating opportunities and risks, monitoring, and achieving results over time.

Job Requirements

You are a passionate, experienced, and result-driven professional with :
- 10years' experience in sustainable sourcing initiatives with/within FMCGs.
- Positive track record to drive commitments with business players and or within large-scale project management.
- Bilingual English and in another European language.
- Communication skills are a major requirement for the candidate, tasked with handling high-value business clients and should, therefore, BE able to consistently address those consumer concerns while offering clear, concise, and understandable responses to their prompts.
- Graduate in business administration, or sustainable development, or procurement or having the equivalent hands-on experience.
- Solution-focused : BE able to adapt to changing situations and have an updated plan A, B and C to deliver objectives.
- Empathetic : Know your stakeholders, speak their languages, listen to their points of view and understand their agendas.
- Change-embracing : BE open to- and keep a curious eye on- innovation, new plans, new opinions in a fast-growing market.
- Didactic : Know how to make a point in a few words, adapt to your public, BE able to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Multi-tasker : Prioritize, deal with pressure, keep track of the progress of several tasks simultaneously and BE ready to rearrange priorities in response to new information.
- Intercultural skills : being able to understand and adapt to different cultures among your colleagues and with project partners (international).
- Remote-working-proof :Ability to self-start, work efficiently, create relationships, work in teams despite long distance and time-difference.

JOB SPECIFICS :
- Preferred location in EEC countriesclose to an international transportation Hub.
- The company offers the opportunity towork from homewith regular in-person interactions at the company's HQs in Paris.
- All jobs requirefrequent travel for client & projects visits and interaction with Livelihoods and partners' teams.
