We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager - Deliverability to lead our efforts in optimizing email deliverability across a platform serving 500K+ clients. In this role, you will drive a data-driven strategy to enhance deliverability performance, develop monitoring systems to detect anomalies, and transform data into actionable insights. You will manage and mentor a cross-functional team, collaborate with product teams to develop client-facing features, and establish key deliverability metrics and reporting systems.
As Engineering Manager - Deliverability, you will :

- Lead a data-driven deliverability optimization strategy across our platform serving 500k+ clients
- Build and implement comprehensive monitoring and observability systems to detect anomalies in deliverability patterns
- Develop analytics frameworks to transform deliverability data into actionable insights
- Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of developers, data analysts, and deliverability operations specialists
- Establish and optimize deliverability metrics, KPIs, and reporting systems
- Collaborate with product teams to design and implement client-facing deliverability features
- Partner with level 1 and level 2 support to create effective tools and training programs for client support
- Stay current on email technology, trends, and regulations. Build relationships with ISPs to ensure optimal email delivery.
- Define and implement technical best practices and architecture design ensuring high-quality software development and scalability.
- Oversee project planning, tasks prioritisation, and allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines.

What will contribute to your success :

- 5+ years of experience in email deliverability, preferably in a high-volume environment
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills with experience building monitoring systems
- Proven track record managing technical teams and driving performance
- Deep understanding of email infrastructure, ISP requirements, and deliverability best practices
- Experience with data processing technologies and analytics platforms
- Knowledge of email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical deliverability concepts to various stakeholders
- Background in SaaS or email service provider environments is highly desirable
