StandardAero SAS, the French subsidiary of the StandardAero group, founded in 1946, is a major player in the maintenance and overhaul of turboprop aircraft engines in Europe. StandardAero is based at Gonesse (95), strategically located between Roissy-CDG airport and Le Bourget airport.

We are a PART 145 aeronautical maintenance workshop whose aim is to optimise engine downtime for our airline customers.

The Machine Tool Technician (M/F) reports to the Workshop Area Manager and works in close collaboration with all the company's technicians, experts, LV/APRS technicians, Quality...

He/she will BE responsible for repairing PW100 aircraft engine parts to enable the engine technicians to reassemble the equipment in accordance with aeronautical protocols and regulations. The aim is to carry out the various machining operations by removing material using a conventional machine, in compliance with safety regulations and as quickly as possible.

Your contribution :
- Carry out machining operations on a conventional machine (milling machine, lathe, grinder)
- Set machine and tool parameters
- Machine precision aerospace parts
- Check the conformity of equipment and finished parts and fill in quality documents
- Certify that work has been carried out correctly
- Visually and dimensionally check machined parts
- Ensure the conformity of tools and machining equipment before use
- Fill in quality and production control forms
- Contribute to improvements in the sector
- Carry out first level preventive/corrective maintenance on equipment

Your strengths for this position :
- - Ability to read plans and diagrams
- - Ability to visualize in space
- - Ability to read technical English
- - Choose the most suitable cutting tools to machine the desired part
- - BE familiar with the use of computer tools
- - Understand and follow instructions in technical documents
- - Master the use of measuring instruments and respect metrology rules
- - Scrupulously respect processes
- - Use lifting equipment
- - Handle tools
- - Have a sense of responsibility
- - Strong awareness of health, safety and environmental issues
- - Comply with production objectives
- - Ability to work as part of a team
- - Communicate information to other departments and hierarchy
- - Hold a vocational training certificate (CAP or Bac professionnel) in machining
- - Significant experience in machining
- - You are at ease with computer tools
- - Excellent command of technical English for daily use of technical documentation
- - You are able to work both independently and as part of a team.
