Within the Hardware Team, within a multidisciplinary Project team, the job holder participates in the development of Innovation and/or Platform electronic products dealing with safety of persons. That covers aspects related to compliance with customer and system requirements, supply schedules, quality objectives and manufacturing and cost objectives.

If you think you'll like to manage the following responsibilities at higher standards :

To propose and share the choice of technical solutions with the Innovation team and the Design Concept Leader :
- Analyse the state of the art of the technology of the concept to BE developed.
- Imagine innovative solutions for automotive and mobility applications.
- Patent application.

Formally analyse Customer specifications and standards applicable, during RFQ phase.

Identify the technical risks against Customer requirements, in terms of cost, time or quality in an automotive environment.

To propose and share the choice of technical solutions with the HW team and the Design Leader :
- Considerate Lessons Learned, Customer - System - Product specifications, Design For Manufacturing, Quality, Cost, Time, Safety and Software constraints.
- Carry out architecture, Hardware Detailed Design justification, requirements check, choice of components, worst-case calculations, simulation, etc.
- Do schematics, write layout specification, participate in components placement and PCB layout reviews, participating to related reviews.
- Propose strategy and formula for the HW to SW Interface Specification (HSIS).

Participate in Design FMEA, Component FMEA, Reliability studies and Fault Tree Analysis.

Participate in component selections and mock-up definition.
- Technology wash, road map with suppliers.
- Write Purchase Technical Specification (PTS) for components finding.
- Define or configure shields mock-up for software developmen
