As we continue to develop Marine & Offshore activities, join our organization as VeriSTAR Green product owner (F/M) for our HeadOffice. The position is located within our La Défense (Courbevoie - 92) office in France.

Role & main responsibilities

Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore (M&O) is engaged in an ambitious digital strategy to support the decarbonization of the maritime industry through innovative and data driven models. This ambition is reflected in the objective of offering a brand of sustainability services through a VeriSTAR Green platform recognized as the reference on the market.

As the Product Owner for VeriSTAR Green, you are the bridge between the various stakeholders (Operation, Verifiers, Sustainability teams) and the digital development teams; you will BE responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, quantitative and qualitative targets, roadmap, to drive the continuous development and improvement of this critical sustainability management solution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including regulatory experts, technical experts, emission verifiers, operation network and clients.

The job incumbent will BE responsible for :
- Manage, prioritize and arbitrate the product backlog with the various stakeholders,
- Serve as the voice of the customer, translating market and client requirements into a cohesive product strategy,
- Define and monitor business impacts to Bureau Veritas M&O revenue and operating profit and return on investments,
- Define product KPIs, analyze usage data, and identify opportunities for enhancement,
- Communicate the product roadmap, releases, and changes to internal and external audiences with the support of our commercial department (KAM & Sales excellence, Commercial Product Management, Marketing & Communication),
- Work cross-functionally in coordination with our Commercial department to enable effective go-to-market strategies, sales support, and customer success initiatives,
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive offerings, and best practices to feed the product vision.

Requirements
- Diploma : Engineer or equivalent (master level) or ex-Captain/ Chief officer.

Rigorous and structured, you have good analytical and writing skills. 3+ years of SaaS product management experience and/or digital product business development.

An experience within a Classification Society or an experience in the maritime industry with environmental compliance frameworks and regulations will BE a plus.

You demonstrated an experience of project management.

Full proficiency in English.
