Les missions du poste
Our client, an international consulting firm, supports energy and sustainable development projects worldwide. Due to increased activity, we have been entrusted with recruiting a :
Energy economist (M/F)
Permanent Contract - France and internationally - €55K-€65K
Reporting to the Energy & Communication Technology division, you will BE responsible for planning, assessing, and coordinating technical assistance projects in the electrical sector.
As such, your main tasks will include :
- Selecting and responding to international tenders to develop energy investment strategies,
- Planning, managing, and coordinating technical and administrative projects in their entirety,
- Modernizing infrastructures and integrating renewable energies into electrical grids,
- Providing technical expertise on clients' electrical infrastructures,
- Leading teams in France and internationally, working closely with local partners,
- Contributing to the energy transition through innovative solutions in mobility and grid digitalization,
- Ensuring compliance with standards and the economic viability of projects.
The position requires frequent travel in France and internationally to participate in missions and collaborate with partners.
Le profil recherché
Ideally holding a degree from an engineering school or an equivalent qualification in electricity or energy, you have 2 to 5 years of experience in the field of electrical infrastructure, covering generation, transmission, and distribution.
Autonomous and detail-oriented, you Excel in economic and financial studies, with experience in projects financed by international donors. Your analytical skills and strong communication abilities enable you to work effectively in a team and collaborate with multicultural partners.
Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of Spanish would BE a valuable asset for this role.
