Our core competencies are the cold extrusion of steel and aluminum as well as the machining of the end product.

This role provides a unique opportunity to gain international experience and develop expertise in the procurement field within a dynamic and multicultural environment.

Reporting to the Group Purchasing Department, your responsibilities will include :
- Key Responsibilities :

- Supplier Management :Assist in the evaluation, selection, and management of suppliers to ensure the highest quality of goods and services at competitive prices.
- Data Analysis :Conduct detailed analyses of purchasing data, including cost comparisons, supplier performance metrics, and market trends to support decision-making.
- Contract Management :Support the negotiation and management of contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Cost Optimization :Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities within the procurement process, contributing to the overall efficiency of the department.
- Market Research :Perform market analysis to identify new suppliers and assess potential risks and opportunities in the supply chain.
- Cross-functional Collaboration :Work closely with other departments, such as Logistics, Quality, and Finance, to ensure seamless integration of procurement activities with overall business operations.
- Reporting :Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, including spend analysis, supplier performance, and cost savings, to inform management decisions.
- Process Improvement :Suggest and help implement improvements in procurement processes, with a focus on increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing supplier relationships.
- Cultural Integration :Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the French and German teams, bridging cultural and language differences.

Searched profile

Previous experience or internships in purchasing, procurement or supply chain management are preferable. This is complemented by an eLicence or Master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, purchasing or a related field.

You are familiar with the principles of financial management (full cost analysis, WCR, etc.), have used one or more ERP systems and know how the supply chain works. You are also familiar with the Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel).

Your open-mindedness, curiosity and perseverance are assets when IT comes to proposing and implementing innovative solutions. Your analytical skills and attention to detail enable you to bring your projects to a successful conclusion.

Fluency in English and German is required. Ideally complemented by fluency in French and Romanian.

The position is based in Vohrenbach (Germany) or/St Georges (Romania)
