Missions of the job
You play a pivotal role in driving sales growth in the ruminant industry by identifying and seizing opportunities within the French territory. Your mission will BE to identify opportunities to expand the sales of Adisseo ruminant products in the territory. You build lasting relationships with key decision makers and influencers in the ruminant field, in particular the main ruminant feed companies and influential nutritionists, both within feed companies and independent, all ruminant or related staff within feed companies, such as ruminant product or marketing manager, sales manager(s), feed mill manager, general manager in certain organizations, etc. Influencers include professors and researchers involved in the field, technical or other associations where ruminant staff are present, etc.
Your main focus is to develop strategies to promote amino acid balancing and develop solutions with customers/nutritionists to both push and pull through the incorporation of Adisseo methionine products in ruminant diets effectively. Additional focus will BE on expanding sales of Adisseo's specialty products, via solution selling to customers to meet their unique needs.

This job reports to the Area Sales Director South.
Responsibilities
Tasks
- Expand the sales of Adisseo's ruminant portfolio through promotion of amino acid formulation or other sales strategies
- Create, implement, and maintain a territory business plan while achieving sales targets
- Develop and service a sales network which includes attending conferences and networking activities to maintain Adisseo's image as industry leader in amino acid nutrition
- Monitoring market information and competitive market intelligence
- Prepare accurate and timely reports that keep team members informed of activities and challenges within the territory
Qualifications
Required profile
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- You must have experience in selling technical products or processes
- Thorough knowledge of the ruminant (dairy) nutrition business in France
- Knowledge of amino acid balancing and at least one formulation software for ruminants (INRA, DVE, CNCPS, NRC, customer company software, etc.)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders
- A willingness to travel to meet with customers, attend industry events, and support business activities
- Languages : ENGLISH and FRENCH at professional level (speaking and writing)
- Competent IT skills
- Having feed formulation experience is a plus
- Able to work 80% of the time in the field
- Have the ability to work autonomous but nevertheless being a loyal team player
EDUCATION
- A bachelors degree in animal or dairy science, ruminant nutrition, or related subject with 5+ years of experience in the livestock feed industry
- At least 5 years of experience in the animal feed industry
