The offered position is for SUEZ E&C (Engineering and Construction), a transversal business of SUEZ dedicated to water treatment infrastructures (potable water plants, desalination plants, wastewater treatment plants, etc.) and waste for the international market. Its broad scope of activities covers areas of design, construction, finance, and operations, providing technical expertise in project management.

PROPOSAL ENGINEER

Education :
- Degree in Industrial Engineering (or equivalent)

Requirements :
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- French (desirable)
- Advanced computer skills

- Communication, negotiation, and reporting skills
- Organized and methodical

Experience :
- Minimum 10 years in the development of Water Treatment Plant projects.
- Experience in international projects

Job Purpose
- As part of the Group's policy and processes, is responsible for managing, coordinating and implementing winning proposals, in consistent with the strategy, commitments and goals of the company or, is responsible, under the authority of a proposal manager, for a part of a proposal.

Reports hierarchically to PC Manager.

Main responsabilities :
- Suggests, implements and adapts the strategy of the implementation of the proposal or of a part of a proposal.
- Is responsible in terms of cost, quality, time and competitiveness for the proposal entrusted to him/her.
- Is responsible for all internal deliverables (design, technical analysis, organization performance, coordination with costing, design office, Civil Work and E&IC disciplines...) of his/her scope of responsibilities.
- Contributes, in support of the business developer, to anticipate and influence relationships with external stakeholders.
- Is able to understand the role and responsibilities within the offer.
Positions himself/herself as the leader for the work package which he/she is responsible for.
- Manages, in delegation of autonomy, internal stakeholders (engineering, procurement, process, Civil works...) on his/her scope of responsibilities and alerts his/her superiors if necessary.
- Contributes in the assigned bids to the analyzes "win loss and the compliance with the whole Quality System of Suez.
Is accountable for the application of the processes, documentation and monitoring the
decisions.
