Les missions du poste
The primary focus of the ASM lies on driving revenue growth, developing strong customer relationships, and expanding market share for Bystronic's range of products and services. The ASM II works closely with the customers, senior management, and sales support teams to achieve sales targets and promotes the company's brand and offerings.
The ASM bears full responsibility for the Sales of Bystronic machines including Service- and Software products in a designated geographic sales area. Furthermore, the ASM is instrumental in gaining Solution orders in close collaboration with the Solution Center in that same region.
The ASM is responsible for achieving both Order Entry and discount/margin targets; therefore, he/she knows how to generate leads, understands the customer's requirements, and is skilled at value selling
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead generation :
- Systematically identifies leads / prospects across his/her region.
- Generates promising leads by performing customer visits, customer demos, and cold calls.
- Order entry generation :
- Builds and maintains good relationships with current and potential customers and continuously assesses their needs for new equipment, software, service etc.
- Identifies opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services to existing customers.
- Prepares and performs machine demonstrations in collaboration with reference customers and/or Bystronic demo centre responsible.
- Drives machine sales process from need identification stage to final Order Entry including negotiation of contracts, pricing, and terms of sale with customers.
- Effectively utilizes internal resources such as Solution Center, Service, Sales Support and Project Management.
- Account Management / Client Care :
- Acts as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Coordinates with Service, Operations, SW, and Solution teams to address any issues or concerns raised by customers and to facilitate smooth delivery and installation of equipment.
- Influences customer on timely payment of bills (where necessary).
- Monitors customer satisfaction and gathers feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Develops strategies to retain existing customers and promote customer loyalty.
- Collaboration / managing interfaces :
- Works closely with other departments, such as Service, SW, Solution, Marketing, Operations, and Sales Management, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of activities.
- Provides feedback from the field to inform and influence Sales- and Product Management, and Marketing.
- Provides data that supports the creation of local area sales budget.
- Compliance :
- Ensures adherence to company policies, procedures, rules, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
- Maintains accurate records of sales transactions in CPQ and Sales Force, contracts, and customer communications in accordance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
Le profil recherché
Your English is proficient
You have a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in business administration, engineering, or related field
You have minimum 4 years industrial sales experience (sheet metal and/or production equipment is a plus) & Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the machine or industrial equipment industry.
