We are seeking an enthusiastic intern to join our Risk team (Accounting) located in Paris and help optimize our mapping rule processing system. This system functions as a decision table, where each row represents a rule that gets evaluated until a match is found. Currently, we rely on a custom implementation, and we are looking to explore improvements by either refining our internal solution or integrating a more efficient market-based solution.

As an intern, you will BE tasked with exploring potential options, assessing their feasibility, and creating a proof of concept (POC) to demonstrate improvements.

Key Responsibilities and Duties :
- Document and test new software applications
- Assess new application ideas
- Research competitor offerings
- Develop applications (coding, programming)
- Interview beta testers

Requirements :
- Computer Science/Network Engineering, Engineering, or Mathematics major
- Excellent analytical and mathematics skills
- Ability to work in teams
- Experience programming in Java and REST API
