Les missions du poste
The Role :
We are looking for a Senior Accountant for our subsidiary Haulotte GmbH, located in Eschbach, Germany. Reporting directly to the subsidiary's Finance Director, you will play a key role in managing the accounting and financial operations of our German entity.
Responsibilities :
As a Senior Accountant, your main responsibilities will include :
- General accounting management : Recording accounting entries (payroll, provisions, depreciation, inventory) and applying German GAAP standards.
- Accounts payable and receivable management : Monitoring payables and receivables, including travel expenses.
- Cash flow forecasting : Preparing the subsidiary's cash forecasts.
- Payroll support : Preparing payroll calculation bases, including variable pay, in collaboration with an external consultant.
- Tax declarations : Ensuring all tax declarations (VAT, INTRASTAT, and others) are in compliance with local regulations.
- Monthly, semi-annual, and annual closings : Producing financial closings and analyzing results.
- Consolidation and reporting : Transmitting data to the group consolidation department and justifying account balances.
- Compliance and audits : Ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and responding to requests from general management and the financial controller.
Le profil recherché
Profile :
We are looking for an experienced candidate with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position and thorough mastery of accounting functions and German regulations. The following skills are essential to succeed in this role :
- Expertise in MS Office, with excellent proficiency in Excel.
- Good understanding of ERP systems (knowledge of INFOR is a plus).
- Language skills : Excellent command of German and English (French is an advantage).
