Main Mission

The Senior User Researcher is responsible for exploring, understanding, and analyzing user behaviors, needs, and expectations to inform the product strategy and choices of the Mobility tribe (a group of product and tech teams dedicated to buying and selling used vehicles). You play a key role in providing strategic and operational insights to ensure engaging and effective user experiences and enable the business to seize opportunities.

You will join a team of 3 user researchers within a UX team of 24 people (product designers, visual designers, design system manager, UX writer, and user researchers).

Main Responsibilities :

Planning, managing, and conducting research :
- Define research objectives and conduct studies in collaboration with product and design teams

Analyzing research results and synthesizing into clear and visual reports :
- Identify improvement opportunities to optimize user journeys
- Ensure the impact of insights on product choices

Interdisciplinary collaboration :
- Integrate insights into the tribe's strategic decisions
- Evangelize user research
- Identify strategic opportunities and challenges

Continuous optimization :
- Research OPS (research process, tools...)
- Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in UX research

Mentoring and training :
- Actively involved in mentoring user researchers
- Conduct training for design and product teams to help them adopt research methodologies, and ensure research quality

Required Skills :

Technical :
- Mastery of qualitative research methodologies (persona, customer journey map, benchmark...) and good knowledge of quantitative methodologies (pricing, barometer, various measurements...)
- Has already conducted strategic studies with 1 to 2 contributors
- Proficiency in analysis and prototyping tools (Figma, Miro, Maze, Lookback, etc.)
- Good knowledge of user research tools : quantitative (Survey Monkey, Maze, OptimalWorkshop...), qualitative (UserZoom, Maze...) and panel creation (Toluna, TestingTime...)
- Excellent understanding of business language and strategies
- Fluency in English : ability to conduct interviews in English and manage stakeholders and service providers in English

Interpersonal :
- Excellent ability to communicate research results clearly and impactfully
- Aptitude for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Good teaching ability to enhance skills
- Experience in managing stakeholders and service providers

Analysis :
- Excellent ability to interpret a large and complex amount of data and transform IT into concrete recommendations
- Rigor in collecting and structuring information
