APPRENTICESHIP - within BURBERRY BEAUTY GLOBAL TRADE MARKETING TEAM

12-month Apprenticeship, starting September 1st, 2024

Reporting to a BURBERRY Beauty Trade Marketing Manager, our Apprentice will work on Fragrances, including our global franchises Goddess, Her, Hero and Signatures, our Private Collection, as well as Make up.

Trade Marketing at Coty consists of Worldwide Operational Marketing, as well as Business Development for the Burberry Brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our BURBERRY Beauty Global Trade Assistant, your main focus is :
- Building and implementing long-term Global and Local Marketing strategies surrounding the 4Ps across all retail channels, to successfully grow Burberry.
- Steering & monitoring all Regions & Markets performances.
- Being the voice TO the Markets and OF the Markets.

This apprenticeship at Burberry Beauty offers a complete overview of and relationship with all Markets worldwide and an in-depth knowledge on the Fragrance and Make up segments. This is a unique opportunity to make an impact at a Global Brand level and to learn and network with all other Experts & Services. You'll get to work in a diverse environment with a team passionate about launching new products, opening new Markets and growing Burberry Beauty, both online and offline.

During your apprenticeship, you will BE responsible for :
- Tracking and analyzing sell-in & sell-out performances at Top Markets & Global levels against KPIs & Competition
- Consolidating globally and tracking Top Markets' Brick & Mortar and E-retail trade plans (Marketing calendars) and managing launches for all Markets
- Running ad-hoc Trade Marketing analyses
- Preparing monthly brand review presentations for the Burberry Group (as our Licensing Fashion House) and for Coty Top Management
- Consolidating post-launches summaries & presentations
- Attending Top Markets weekly calls with the Trade Team, assisting with their operational requests
- Being referent for building global slides, for decks released by Marketing
- Preparing new doors opening briefs for Burberry License approvals
- Updating database to ensure constant accuracy of all Fragrance catalog, Promo Guidelines, etc.
- Assisting in building the promotion Giftsets lineup, with related volume and pricing
- Running Markets, Competitors activities and Price analyses vs Competition
- Updating brand Distribution database and Global contacts list
- Consolidating lab samples & mockup needs for Markets
- Checking stores in Paris and regular online auditing

The Global Trade Marketing team has a wide exposure and varied interactions with most of Coty business units : Local Trade Marketing and Local Marketing teams, Global Marketing team based in Paris, other internal Global teams such as Merchandising, Media, Digital, PR & IM, Gifting/Promotions and Lifecycle.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT
- Master's degree with prior experience in Marketing, Sales or Consulting
- Business acumen and a strong analytical background (advanced Excel skills required)
- Spontaneous interest and understanding of premium retail environments, of the beauty industry
- Used to adapt and evolve in a diverse international context and fluent in English (over 50% of the work is done in English)
- A sense of priorities and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multi-task
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Reliable and close attention to detail
